Our Hillside Youth care very much about Keats Camps. In the spring our youth go to Keats and spend the long weekend volunteering their time and energy working and preparing the camp for the summer. Most of our leaders and some youth travel to Keats Camps during their summer break to help out in dishwashing, working with youth and leadership position.
Keats Camps has been a strong part of many of our lives! We will continue to pray and support the positive impact that Keats has been making in our families and community for many years.
Summer Camps
At Keats Camps we run camps for youth and adults all summer long!
We offer a fun filled week of adventure for our campers, with a diverse
list of opportunities for fun, friendship, and growth. Through all this our goal is to proclaim Jesus
Christ, and seek to reveal his truth and grace through camping. From Wakeboarding and Sailing, to Mt Biking and Climbing we have activities
to challenge and excite. Discover what you're capable of and have
more fun than you can imagine along the way with crazy games, skits and
an amazing staff.
The LEAD program at Keats is your "Bridge" from Camper to Staff.
A multi-level program for youth entering grades 10-12, with a focus on spiritual instruction and service, the LEAD program will help you develop your faith and train you to become an effective leader both at Keats and in your local community. Starting with service on the grounds and in the dish room (Deckhand), participants move into working alongside our staff instructing campers in skills and sharing their faith in a cabin setting (Crew). After completion of the LEAD program participants are eligible to apply for volunteer staff positions the following summer.
